I am the Associate Director of Learning Environments for the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. I lead a team that provides support to all classroom, conference room and group study areas. I am responsible for evaluating and recommending innovative solutions as they specifically relate to classrooms and learning spaces. We support an A/V platform consisting of Crestron/Extron control systems, video projectors, digital audio, interactive wall touch displays, video conferencing, digital signage, and lecture capture, to name a few. The best part of my job, besides working for OSU, are the daily challenges we encounter from project management to system maintenance and repair.
Before starting at OSU, I focused on a career managing computer networks and providing server support as both a consultant and director. As years passed, I joined some fellow colleagues to assist with a venture into the A/V installation industry. I used my experience with computers to blend that knowledge with design and programming of A/V systems. The convergence of these skills from both industries has molded and groomed me into the experienced professional and manager I am today.
